Deleting your data

Delete your account from the app

Customers: open Pampa, go to Profile and tap Delete My Account at the bottom.

Professionals and salons: go to Profile and tap Delete My Pampa Pro Account at the bottom.

You can't delete your account while a booking (pending, confirmed or in progress), a refund or a payout is still open. Complete or cancel your bookings first, and wait for any refund or payout to finish.

What happens when you delete

• Your personal details are removed from your account: name, email, phone number, address, profile photo, bio, safety profile credentials and bank details.
• Allergy and sensitivity information is deleted from your bookings, and recorded location coordinates are removed.
• Your booking history is kept in anonymised form. Your name is replaced with "A Pampa Customer" or "A Pampa Professional", so the other person keeps their own records without seeing who you are.
• Reviews stay on the platform in anonymous form.
• Photos you uploaded, including transformation photos in a professional's gallery, stay on the platform but are no longer linked to you.
• Your login is disabled.

What we keep, and why

• Booking and payment records, for up to 7 years, to meet Australian tax and financial record-keeping obligations.
• Anonymised booking records, so the other party to a booking keeps their own records.
• Safety records: urgent help requests, check-in answers, ratings professionals gave you, and any arrival photo still within its 30 days or held for an open case. These may be needed for a safety investigation, a dispute or a legal claim.
• Identity verification results and reference IDs, for up to 7 years after your account closes, for fraud prevention and audit. Photo ID and selfie images held by our verification provider follow that provider's own retention policy.

If you can't use the app

Email privacy@pampaapp.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. The same address handles requests to see or correct your information, and to remove a transformation photo that clearly shows your face.

If you signed in with Google or Apple

Deleting your Pampa account doesn't delete your Google or Apple account. To stop Pampa receiving your sign-in details, you can also remove Pampa from the apps connected to that account.
