Read as a pro →What happens if I cancel at short notice or miss my appointment?
Cancel more than 24 hours before your appointment and you get a full refund. Within 24 hours, you get half back. After the start time, or if you don’t turn up, nothing is refunded. Refunds go back to your card by themselves and usually take 5 to 10 business days to show. If your professional cancels or doesn’t arrive, you get everything back, including the Platform Fee.
Written for the Pampa app as of 19 Oct 2026 (update 1.0.373). If your app looks different, update Pampa from the App Store.
Before you’ve paid
You can cancel a request at any time before you pay, even after your professional has accepted it and sent the invoice. Nothing has been charged, so there’s nothing to refund.
If you don’t pay within 60 minutes of your professional accepting, the booking cancels itself and you’re both notified. You’re free to book again.
After you’ve paid
More than 24 hours before your appointment: you get a full refund.
Within 24 hours of your appointment: you get half back. The other half covers your professional’s preparation and the time they kept for you.
After the start time, or if you don’t turn up: no refund.
The Platform Fee is refunded by the same rules. To cancel, open your booking and tap Cancel. The app tells you which of these applies before you confirm, and How refunds work opens this page.
Your refund
Refunds go back to the card you paid with by themselves. You don’t need to ask, and we never need your bank details. They usually take 5 to 10 business days to show on your statement.
Running late rather than cancelling? Call your professional from the Contact button on your booking.
If your professional cancels or doesn’t arrive
You get a full refund, including the Platform Fee. If they cancel in the app, it happens by itself.
If they simply don’t arrive, tell us through Send Feedback in your Profile, and someone on the Pampa team will sort it out.
Your rights
This is Pampa’s own cancellation policy. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply as well, and nothing here limits them.
