If I feel unsafe at a customer’s home, what support does Pampa have in place?

If you’re in danger, call 000 and leave. You don’t need to finish the service first. While you’re at a booking, your booking card has Need help with this booking?. Tap it, then I need help now, and the Pampa team is alerted with that one tap. They try to call you first, and your customer isn’t told.

If you’re in danger

Call 000, and leave if you can. You don’t need to finish the service or sort anything out before you go. Payment happens in the app, so there’s nothing to collect on the spot.

Asking Pampa for help

From the time you tap I’ve Arrived until the service ends, your booking card shows Need help with this booking?. Tap it, then I need help now. That one tap sends it. There’s nothing to type.

The alert goes to the Pampa team and keeps repeating until someone picks it up. They try to call you first, with yes-or-no questions in case you can’t talk freely. If you ask them to, can’t talk freely, or don’t answer twice, they may call 000 with the booking’s address. A response can’t be guaranteed, or how quickly, so call 000 yourself if you’re in danger.

Your customer isn’t told. Nothing changes on their phone, and the team doesn’t contact them until you’re safe or 000 has been called.

Tapped it by mistake? For a minute after, you can say so on the same screen. Someone still checks on you, gently.

Check-ins during the service

On appointments of about half an hour or more, Pampa checks in on your phone a few times, and again if it runs past the booked time. Only Pampa sees your answer, never your customer.

Something’s wrong on a check-in opens the same help. If you miss two check-ins in a row, someone on the team is told, so a person looks into it. Nothing happens to your booking or your payment on its own.

When it’s uncomfortable, not urgent

Choose Something’s not right with the customer or payment instead. Finish up, or leave if you need to, and tell us after. Pampa follows up with you and the customer.

Customers agree in the Terms of Service not to harass, threaten or behave inappropriately towards a professional. Pampa can suspend or close the account of a customer who does.

If you run a salon

The help is on the booking card in your Pampa account. Make sure whoever attends a booking can reach it, or can reach you, while they’re there.
