How do payouts work, and how long does it take to get paid after a booking?

Your earnings are held in Pampa’s account until you ask for them. Once a booking is complete, the money shows as Available on your Home screen. Tap it, then Request Payout, and add your bank details. A person on the Pampa team sends each payout, and the app asks you to allow 2–3 business days for that. Once it’s transferred, it usually reaches your bank within 1–3 business days. Payouts are free.

How to request a payout

Check your Available balance on Home, request a payout, and follow its status to Paid.

When your earnings become available

Your customer pays in the app before the appointment. While the booking is under way, that money shows on your Home screen as In progress.

It moves to Available once the booking is complete, after your customer confirms on their phone that the service is finished. Extra services they paid for during the appointment are added, and so is any cancellation fee you keep.

What you see is what you receive: your service price, less card processing of 1.7% + $0.30 per payment. No commission comes off, and nothing is charged for a payout.

Requesting a payout

On your Home screen, tap Available to open My Earnings, then Request Payout. Enter the amount, from $10 up to what’s available, and your Australian bank details: account holder name, bank name, account number and BSB.

You see the details once more before you send them. A wrong BSB or account number is the most common reason a payout comes back.

You can have one request in progress at a time. Once it’s paid, you can request again.

How long it takes

Payouts are sent by hand. A person on the Pampa team transfers each one from Pampa’s Stripe account to your bank, and the app asks you to allow 2–3 business days for that part.

Once it’s transferred, Australian bank transfers usually take 1–3 business days to arrive. Allow for both when you’re planning.

My Earnings shows where your request is: Submitted, then Processing, then Paid. You get a notification when it’s being processed and again when it’s been transferred.

If a payout comes back

If a request is returned or the transfer fails, My Earnings tells you why and you get a notification. Your earnings stay in your balance, so nothing is lost. Fix the details and request again, or tap Open a ticket to talk it through with the team.

If you run a salon

Payouts are requested from the salon account and go to your business’s bank account. Pampa pays your business, not individual staff members.
