Read as a pro →Are there any fees on top of the price?
One: the Platform Fee (the Terms call it the Service Fee), 10% of your services under $300, or a flat $25 when they’re $300 or more (travel doesn’t count). It’s waived on your first paid booking. GST (10%) is added to the Platform Fee only, never to the pro’s price. Both are included in the Total when you confirm and on the invoice, and there’s nothing else on top.
Written for the Pampa app as of 19 Oct 2026 (update 1.0.373). If your app looks different, update Pampa from the App Store.
Where the Platform Fee shows
How to see the fee in your Total, and how to pay.
The Platform Fee
It’s added on top of your pro’s listed price and helps Pampa run: secure payments, customer support and the app itself. None of it comes out of your pro’s price. The fee isn’t taken from it.
On a $120 facial, the fee is $12.00, so you pay $132.00. On $300 or more of services, it’s $25.
Your first booking
There’s no Platform Fee on your first paid booking. Tap ⓘ beside Total and it says No Platform Fee on your first booking.
Before you pay
Once your pro accepts, your booking shows the invoice: each service, then the Total with the fee included. Tap ⓘ beside Total to see the fee. Nothing is charged until you pay.
If your pro charges a travel fee to come to you, it shows on the invoice too, and it goes to your pro. The Platform Fee is worked out on your services plus travel.
Notifications asking you to pay, and the one confirming your payment, quote your full total with the fee included. After you pay, the Paid card shows the same Total, with the fee behind its ⓘ.
If you cancel or get a refund
The Platform Fee is refunded by the same rules as the service price. If your pro cancels, you get both back in full.
