Why is a pro’s location approximate?
Pampa doesn’t show a pro’s street address. Cards and profiles show the suburb they work from. As a guest, a distance to a pro who works on their own is worked out from an area about 1 km across, not from their exact base.
Written for the Pampa app as of 5 Oct 2026 (update 1.0.256). If your app looks different, update Pampa from the App Store.
What you see
Cards and profiles show the suburb a pro works from. A pro’s street address isn’t shown, whether you’re signed in or not.
As a guest
Pros who work on their own often start from home. While you browse as a guest, the app only gets an area about 1 km across for where they’re based. For a salon, it gets the salon’s location.
When you pin a spot on the booking form, the price box can show how far away the pro is, such as ~6 km away. That distance is worked out from the area, so it’s approximate.
When you book
Pros come to the spot you pin, so you don’t need their base address.
Your pro sees the suburb of your pin with your request, and your exact address once they set off. Phone numbers are shared only after you pay.
