How do I connect my Google Calendar?
Open Profile › Calendar, tap Connect a calendar, then Connect Google Calendar and sign in to Google. Your Google events show on your Pampa Calendar as busy times, so you see a clash before you accept a request. It’s only a heads-up: it never blocks a booking. Pampa only reads your calendar, and customers never see it.
Written for the Pampa app as of 29 Oct 2026 (update 1.0.525). If your app looks different, update Pampa from the App Store.
Connecting your Google Calendar
Profile › Calendar › Connect a calendar › Connect Google Calendar, then choose which calendars to watch.
Connect it
Open the Profile tab and tap Calendar, under Your business. Under Needs your attention, tap Connect a calendar. Your calendars opens.
If Home suggests Connect your Google Calendar, tapping it opens your Calendar with Your calendars already open.
Salons: first choose a name under Whose calendar is this? Clashes are only flagged against that person’s bookings. Pick Whole salon only if the calendar should apply to everyone.
Show event names is off unless you tick it. Off, your events show as just Busy. On, Pampa shows their names to you.
Tap Connect Google Calendar and sign in to the Google account your calendar is on. It doesn’t have to be the account you sign in to Pampa with.
Google asks to let Pampa see your calendars. Leave the boxes ticked and tap Continue. Back in Pampa, it says Google Calendar connected.
Choose which calendars to watch
After you connect, Which calendars should we watch? opens. Your main calendar is ticked. Tick any others your appointments go in, such as a work calendar, then tap Save.
To change it later, tap Change next to Watching under the account.
What shows on your Pampa Calendar
Your Google events show as blocks marked from your calendar. When a booking request overlaps one, Pampa says Heads up — this overlaps another booking. You can still accept it. Pampa never blocks or declines a booking because of your Google events.
Events set to Free in Google, cancelled or declined events, and birthdays are left out. An all-day event only counts when it’s set to Busy.
Tap an event to see it. Tick Mark as not busy if it shouldn’t count, such as a reminder. It stays on your calendar but no longer flags a clash.
Pampa checks Google every few minutes and each time you open Calendar, from yesterday to about six months ahead. To check now, tap the refresh button next to the account.
Who sees it
Only you. Customers never see your Google events, and they never stop a customer sending you a request.
Pampa only reads your calendar. It never adds, changes or deletes anything in Google.
Pampa support can see that you’ve connected a Google account and its email address, to help you set it up. Not your events.
Change or disconnect it
Event names: tap Turn on or Turn off under the account. Pampa updates straight away.
Hide a calendar for a while: untick the box next to it. Its events leave your Pampa Calendar until you tick it again.
Disconnect: tap ⊗ next to it, then Disconnect. Its busy times come off your calendar and what Pampa brought in is deleted. Your Pampa bookings don’t change.
If it doesn’t work
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Pampa needs to see when you’re busy | Tap Connect Google Calendar again and leave every box ticked on Google’s screen. |
| That took too long | Start again from Connect Google Calendar. |
| Needs a look under the account | Disconnect it, then connect it again. |
| Your bookings are in another app | Turn on that app’s Google Calendar sync, then connect that Google Calendar here. |
