How do I join Pampa and start taking bookings?
Sign in to the Pampa app, tap Get Booked and choose Just me or Salon / Business. A few short screens set you up: the Partner Agreement, your first service, where you’re based, your hours and how far you travel. Verify your identity from Home with a photo ID and a quick selfie and you can accept bookings, with no commission taken from your price.
Written for the Pampa app as of 19 Oct 2026 (update 1.0.373). If your app looks different, update Pampa from the App Store.
How to sign up as a professional
Sign up, set up your service, location, profile, hours and travel, then verify your identity.
Signing up
Sign in to the Pampa app with Continue with Google, or Continue with Apple on an iPhone. You don’t need Gmail: Apple works with any email on your Apple ID, or can hide yours. On Welcome to Pampa!, tap Get Booked (I’m a Professional).
How do you work? asks for your account type. Choose Just me if you do the services yourself and manage your own bookings. Choose Salon / Business to manage bookings on behalf of your team. A salon can add its business name here, or set it later in Settings. You can switch between Just me and Salon later in Settings too.
How earnings work on Pampa shows a worked example: on a $100 booking, you earn $98.00. Tap Continue Setup.
The Partner Agreement
The next screen lists what you agree to as a professional, with links to read the full Partner Agreement and the Privacy Policy. Salons see the Partner Agreement (Salon).
Tick I have read and agree to the Partner Agreement, and I have read and agree to the Privacy Policy. A salon also ticks that the person signing up is authorised to bind the business to the agreement. Then tap I agree to the Partner Agreement.
Setting up your profile
Add your first service: a category, a name, an optional description, a price in AUD and an estimated duration, then tap Add Service. You can tap Skip for Now and add services later from the Pampa Catalog, where the descriptions are written and you set the price.
Pin Your Starting Location (Pin Your Salon Location for a salon). Tap the map where you start your day, or tap Pin to my current location. The address fills in from the pin and every line can be edited. Distance to customers and your service area are worked out from this pin. Tap Confirm Location.
Your profile: your Pampa Pro Name is filled in from your sign-in, so change it if customers know you by another name. Add your phone number, which is required, and a bio, which is optional. Tap Continue.
Salons then see Who does the services? When a booking comes in, you choose who takes it. Tap I do the services myself to add yourself, or add team members by name and mobile. You can tap I’ll add my team later, but a salon needs at least one person here before it can accept a booking.
When are you available? Pick a preset, such as Weekdays or Weekends, or choose Custom for exact hours, then tap Set Availability & Continue.
How far will you travel? Set Free travel up to, from 1 to 50 km. Past that, you can tick to charge a flat travel fee. Tap Save & Continue. You can change your hours and travel at any time.
The last few screens are optional: photos of your work for your profile, notifications (Allow Notifications, or Remind me Later), and your Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, which can show on your Pampa page.
Verifying your identity
The last screen, Your profile is ready, says to verify your ID from your Home screen. Tap Go to Home, then Verify your identity on the Get booked card. You need a photo of your government ID and a quick selfie, which takes a couple of minutes. Tick the consent box and tap Start verification. Verification is handled by our provider, Persona. Pampa stores only the result, not your ID or selfie images.
The check usually comes back within minutes. For a salon, the person who signed up is the one who verifies.
If verifying online doesn’t work, tap Get verified manually to arrange a short video call with the Pampa team.
Once you’re verified, your profile shows the Verified Pro badge. An ID check lasts a year. Before it ends, Home shows Renew your ID check.
When customers can find and book you
Customers can find you once you have at least one service, as long as you’re not on a break and they’re within the distance you travel.
You need to be verified to accept a booking. Until then, customers can still send you requests. Each request shows Verify to accept and is held until you finish. If you haven’t pinned your location, it shows Set your location to accept. A request that isn’t accepted within 48 hours, or before the appointment time, cancels itself.
Until you’re set up, Home shows a Get booked card with what’s left: Add your services, Pin your location, Set your hours, Add your phone and Verify your identity. Salons also see Add who does the services. Once they’re all done, Home says You’re live — customers can book you.
Home then suggests things customers look for, such as a profile photo (your logo or shopfront for a salon), a cover photo, your safety details and your ABN.
Your ABN and the Registered Business badge
Adding an ABN is optional, and it doesn’t affect whether you can take bookings. Open Profile › Verifications › Business (ABN), enter your ABN and tap Request Verification.
Pampa checks it against the Australian Business Register. While it’s being checked, it shows Submitted — Pampa is verifying. Once verified, your ABN shows as verified under Verifications. When the name on your profile is registered to that ABN, customers see Registered Business next to Verified pro at the top of your profile.
What it costs
Pampa takes no commission from your price. The only deduction is card processing: 1.7% + $0.30 per payment, or 3.5% + $0.30 on an international card. On a $100 booking, you receive $98.00. Your travel fee is yours in full.
Your earnings show on Home. Request a payout from Earnings when you’re ready. Payouts are free and the minimum is $10.
