How do I make my profile stand out?

Once you’re live, Home suggests what to add next, up to three at a time: a profile photo, a cover photo, a few words about you, your safety details, your ABN and more. Tap one to go straight to it, or tap × on one you don’t want. See all lists every suggestion. Add a few photos of your work to Socials as well. When a customer rates a booking and it has before and after photos, it shows on your Reviews tab as a Look.

Start with Home

Once you’re live, the Your profile card on Home suggests what to add next, up to three at a time. Each row says why it helps. Tap a row to go straight to it. A row drops off once it’s done, and the next one moves up.

The suggestions include Add a profile photo, Add a cover photo of your work, Say a bit about you, Add your safety details, Add your ABN, Add your Instagram, Make a first-visit offer (Add a web exclusive once you have your own page link) and Connect your Google Calendar. For a salon, they read Add your logo or shopfront, Add a cover photo of your salon, Describe your salon and Add your business details, and Add photos of your team shows while a team member has no photo.

The order changes as you go. While no one has viewed your profile yet, your photos and a few words about you come first. Once customers view or follow you, an offer comes first. After your first paid booking, Connect your Google Calendar and, for a salon, Add photos of your team come first.

Not for you? Tap × on a row and it leaves Home for 30 days, or until Home moves on a step, such as after your first paid booking. Tap × on it again and it stays off Home.

Tap See all › under the rows to open Ideas for your profile. It lists every suggestion under To do, Hidden for now and Done. Tap Open › to go to one, or Show again to put a hidden one back on Home.

Some rows come first and have no ×, because something needs fixing: Pin your real location, if your pin is still on the map’s starting spot, Update your insurance, if your cover has ended, and Renew your ID check, if it runs out within 30 days or before a booking.

The bell at the top of Home asks for one thing at a time, such as Add a short bio or Insured? Add your details. Tap Not now to put it off.

To check your card the way customers see it, tap Your profile on Home, then See your card ›.

Your profile photo

Tap Add a profile photo on Home, or open Your profile › Photo and cover › Photo. Choose Take Photo or Choose from Gallery. Photos are cropped square.

If you run a salon, the app then asks Is this your logo?. Tap It’s our logo and it’s shown whole on a plain background at the top of your card. Tap It’s a photo and it fills that space. A logo or a photo of your shopfront works well for a salon.

Without a cover photo, your profile picture fills the top of your card for customers. If it looks blurry or cropped, see My profile header photo or logo looks wrong.

Your cover photo

Tap Add a cover photo of your work on Home, or open Your profile › Photo and cover › Cover. The Cover screen shows your cover In the app and on Your web page.

On the Book tab’s list of who’s free, your card shows your cover photo. With no cover, it shows up to three of your Socials photos, or, with none, your initials on a colour.

Pick one of your Socials photos, or tap + to add a new one. A new photo is saved to your Socials too. Auto uses your profile photo in the app and your Socials photos on your web page. With a photo picked, choose Top, Middle or Bottom to keep that part in view, then tap Save.

Photos of your work

Socials is the photo gallery on your profile. Customers see it on the Socials tab of your card. Add photos from My Socials on your Profile tab, from the Socials section of your Portfolio tab, or from Showcase your work in Stand Out. Tap Add to pick photos, up to 10 at a time.

Until you add some, customers see a line saying you haven’t shared any photos of your work yet.

Your Instagram, TikTok and YouTube

Open Your profile › Your links, or tap Add your Instagram on Home. Paste a link or type your name for Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, then tap Save.

Turn on Show on your Pampa page to show them on your web page. They show at the bottom of the page, under Also on, and open in a new tab. They don’t show in the app.

If you gave your handles when you signed up, they stay off your page until you say yes. The bell asks once: tap Show it, or Not now. You can change it any time with the switch in Your links.

No Instagram yet? Your links suggests a few names from your business name and your page link. Instagram tells you if one’s taken when you sign up.

Your introduction

Tap Say a bit about you on Home (Describe your salon for a salon), or open Your profile › About you › About. Type a few lines under Tell customers about you and tap Save. It shows in the app and on your web page.

Customers read it on the About tab of your profile, under About Me, or About Us for a salon.

Your safety details and ABN

Add your safety details opens Stand Out, which is also a tile on your Profile tab. It covers your team, insurance, products, qualifications and how you work. Customers see the details on your About tab, marked as provided by you. For insurance, see Do I need my own public liability insurance?

Adding your ABN is optional, and it doesn’t affect whether you can take bookings. Open Profile › Verifications › Business (ABN). Pampa checks it against the Australian Business Register, and the row shows Verified once it’s done. When the name on your profile is registered to that ABN, customers see Registered Business next to Verified pro at the top of your profile.

Once your identity is verified, customers see Verified pro on your profile.

Looks from your bookings

A Look is a finished booking your customer has rated, where they’ve added at least one photo. It shows the booking’s photos from you and your customer, except any your customer has hidden.

On the Reviews tab of your profile, a review whose booking has before and after photos shows See the Pampa ›, which opens it as a Look.

Customers can turn their photos off at any time, and they then come down from your profile.

Followers

Customers can tap Follow on your profile, and you get a notification when someone does. Followers see your new services, new photos and lower prices in the Following tab of their bell.

Until you’ve been paid for a booking, Home shows your profile views for the last 7 days, and your followers once you have one.
