Read as a customer →How is the travel fee on a booking worked out?
From your travel settings and the distance between where you work from and your customer’s pin. Your customer sees it before sending the request and on the invoice before paying. You get the travel fee in full: no card fee comes off it.

Where it comes from
Your free travel distance and your maximum travel distance, set in Travel settings. Requests from outside your maximum can’t be sent.
If you hadn’t set your location
Customers can still send you a request, with the travel fee to be confirmed. When you accept, Confirm travel fee shows the amount for that booking. Tick I’m happy to charge the travel fee and tap Accept booking. Your customer sees it before paying and can cancel for free.
If the customer is outside your travel area, you can’t accept as it stands. Decline it, or widen your travel coverage and try again.
