When do I pay for a booking, and how long do I have?

You pay after your pro accepts. In My Pampas the booking is under Pending, labelled Accepted · pay to confirm, with a Pay button that opens the invoice. Pay within 60 minutes with Pay Now. If you don’t, the booking cancels itself and nothing is charged. Your card is charged when you pay.

Written for the Pampa app as of 19 Oct 2026 (update 1.0.373). If your app looks different, update Pampa from the App Store.

How to pay for a booking

What the invoice shows

Your services, any travel fee and any offer, then the Total. Tap ⓘ beside Total to see what makes it up: each service, then the Platform Fee worked out (10% of services under $300, $25 from $300) and the GST on it. There’s no Platform Fee on your first booking.

How to pay

Tap Pay Now, then choose Apple Pay or a card. Apple Pay shows on an iPhone with a card in Apple Wallet, and you confirm with Face ID or Touch ID. The button changes to Payment Successful, and your booking is labelled Confirmed.

If you miss the 60 minutes

The booking cancels itself and you both get a notification. Nothing was charged. You can send a new request any time.

Changed your mind before paying? Tap Cancel booking. It’s free.

Paying for extras later

If your pro adds something extra during the visit, you get a separate invoice after you mark the service complete. It has only the extra services on it.
