How do I find the right pro on Pampa?
Start on the Book tab: pick a treatment or an occasion, then a day, and you see every pro free that day who travels to your spot. Each card has the pro’s rating, distance, travel fee and first free time. Tap the top of a card to open their profile and check Verified pro, their reviews, their Looks and their insurance.
Written for the Pampa app as of 19 Oct 2026 (update 1.0.373). If your app looks different, update Pampa from the App Store.
Start on the Book tab
Pampa pros work across Sydney and come to you. On the Book tab, under What are you booking?, tap a treatment, or tap By occasion and pick an occasion. You can also type in Search treatments.
Under When would you like it?, pick a day and tap See who’s free. Days when no one near you is free are greyed out.
Once your spot is set, you only see pros who travel to it. To change it, tap Your spot at the top of the Book tab and pick a saved place, such as Home or Work. If you haven’t set one, it reads Set your spot. Pros who are taking a break don’t appear until they’re back.
What a card tells you
The top of the card shows the pro’s cover photo, their name with a tick if they’ve verified their identity, and Independent therapist or Salon, their suburb and how far away they are.
Under it, their star rating and number of reviews, or New if they don’t have any yet, and Next free with their first free time that day. Rebooked by and a number shows when 3 or more customers have booked them again. A travel fee, such as +$15 travel, shows only when this pro charges one to reach your spot.
Their services are listed with prices. From $85 means the price depends on the option you choose. Tap a time, then tick the services you want to add them to Your list. With no time picked, a service goes in at their first free time.
The price on the card is the pro’s price. When you confirm, the Total includes a Platform Fee (10% of services under $300, $25 from $300) and GST on that fee, except on your first paid booking.
See their work
On the pro’s Reviews tab, a review with before and after photos has See the Pampa ›. It opens that booking’s Look: its photos, the customer’s review and star rating, and the services booked. A photo the customer chose to hide never shows.
A Look lists the services from that booking. Book this Pampa opens the pro’s page with the services you’ve added, so you can choose a time.
Check the pro’s profile
Tap the top of a pro’s card to open their profile on the Services tab, filtered to what you’re booking. Tap Show me all to see everything they offer. Add to my list puts what you pick into Your list for that day.
Under their name are their rating, number of reviews and how far away they are, such as Within 5 km. Verified pro means they’ve completed an identity check. It confirms who they are, not their qualifications. On a salon, it confirms the person who set up the salon’s account.
Pros can appear on the Book tab before they verify. If you send a request to one, you’re told before it’s sent, and the request is held until they verify.
Reviews has what customers wrote, with their photos. Services has prices and how long each one takes. Calendar has their weekly hours. Socials, when a pro has added photos, shows their work.
Insurance and other credentials
On the About tab, Trust & Verification shows Insured when the pro has added public liability insurance: the insurer, the last three digits of the policy number and the date their cover ends.
The pro declares these details. Pampa doesn’t check insurance policies. Other credentials, such as products and certifications, are also provided by the pro, and the profile says so.
Search
Type a treatment, such as facial, in Search treatments on the Book tab. Tap a result to pick a day for it. Search matches service names only, not a pro’s or salon’s name.
Salons and pros on their own
Salons and pros who work on their own appear side by side. A salon has a small shop icon next to its name on its profile, and its About tab starts with About Us instead of About Me.
Booking a salon works the same way as booking a pro on their own.
Following a pro
Tap Follow next to a pro’s name on their profile. Their new services, new photos and price changes then appear under Following when you tap the bell at the top right of the Book tab. Tap Following to stop.
